Apple HomePod: Set up equalizer from iPhone
AirPlay makes it easy to change the sound - both with presets and manually.
- Play music through AirPlay first. This step is necessary to set up the equalizer.
- Now open the settings on your iPhone or iPad. Then press the "Music" item.
- Scroll down until you find the entry »EQ«.
- Here you can either choose from different presets or create your own sound profile.
- These sound settings remain stored on your iPhone or iPad and are used when you transfer music via AirPlay.
Adjust sound on Mac
You can also make adjustments to the sound of the HomePod on the Mac.
- To do this, start iTunes on your Mac.
- Click on "Window" in the small bar at the top and then on "Equalizer".
- Here, too, you can choose from a variety of presets or adjust the volume of the individual frequency ranges. The controls on the left are responsible for the bass, on the right you can adjust the treble.
