Confirm Apple ID - Here's how
If you want to protect your Apple ID from hackers and third-party access, you can activate the two-step confirmation. We'll show you how to make your Apple ID even more secure.
Confirm Apple ID: This is how the two-step confirmation works
- Thanks to the two-step confirmation, you now have to enter not only your password, but also a code for logging into your Apple ID. This four-digit code is always sent to your iOS device.
- Two-factor authentication is always used with every purchase in iTunes, login to iCloud and changes to your account. So hackers have no chance.
- You will receive a security key to restore your account during setup. This is required if you lose your device or forget your password. Keep the key in a safe place.
Apple ID: Set up two-step verification
