Use Apple iPad Pro with stylus: the best features
With the iPad Pro, Apple also introduced the Apple Pencil. We'll show you the best features of the first Apple stylus.
Paint, draw and design with the stylus for the iPad Pro
The Apple Pencil is primarily not intended as a control element of the iPad Pro, but as an artistic tool. With the right app, you can draw precise sketches and paint elaborate pictures. The Apple stylus is ahead of other styluses thanks to modern technology.
- An important function of the Apple Pencil is the pressure sensor in the tip of the stylus. The sensor detects how hard the stylus is pressed, so you can vary the thickness of the drawn lines as you like.
- Apple has also installed a position sensor in the stylus. This allows the Apple Pencil to be easily tilted like a real pencil.
- Thanks to a very well-functioning handball recognition, you can also place your hand on the display of the iPad Pro without the functions of the Apple Pencil being restricted.
Use the Apple Pencil iOS on the iPad Pro
If you want to use your iPad Pro, you don't have to put the stylus down because it works with iOS to a large extent like your finger:
- Apps can be opened and controlled as normal with the Apple Pencil. You can also operate the keyboard of the iPad Pro with the Apple stylus.
- Multi-touch gestures and the split-screen operation of the iPad Pro are not possible with the stylus. You cannot access the control and message center of iOS with Apple's stylus either.
