Apple Music: Disable Connect - Here's how
If you no longer use Connect in Apple Music, you can simply deactivate it. The Connect button disappears from the menu bar in the music app and makes room for the well-known playlist button. We'll show you how to disable Connect on iPhone, iPad, and iTunes.
Apple Music: Disable Connect on iPhone and iPad
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Then select the "General" menu item and tap on "Restrictions".
- If necessary, tap "Activate restrictions" and assign any code.
- Now disable "Apple Music Connect".
Disable Apple Music Connect in iTunes
- Open iTunes on PC or Mac.
- Click on "Edit" in the menu bar and then on "Settings". If the menu bar is not displayed, you can show it using the key combination [Ctrl] + [B].
- Click on "Restrictions" (also "Parental Control" in older iTunes versions) and tick "Connect" ("Apple Music Connect" in older iTunes versions).
- Now confirm the changed settings with "OK".
