Apple Music: Create Playlist - Here's how
If you want to create a playlist on Apple Music, you have to search a little first. The function is a bit hidden with the music streaming service. We'll tell you how to manage your playlists on PC and iOS.
Create a new Apple Music Playlist on iPhone and iPad
- First, open the Music app and tap on "My Music".
- Then select the "Playlists" option.
- Give the playlist a name and then add a title.
- If you then call up any album, you will find three dots behind each track. Tap it and you can add the track to your playlist.
- Search for other songs in Apple Music, do the same: Tap the three dots behind the song and add it to your playlist.
Create a new Apple Music Playlist on a PC or Mac
- To create a new playlist on a Mac or PC, you need the free iTunes tool.
- In the left column under "Playlists" you will find the entry "Apple Music Playlist". Here Apple automatically stores the songs you listened to most. But you can also create your own playlists:
- To do this, mark the tracks you would like to have in your new playlist and right-click on the respective song.
- In the context menu, select your new playlist under "Add to playlist".
Of course, you can also import your old Spotify playlists into Apple Music.
