Apple Music: delete song - so it'll work
With Apple Music you can also make music available offline. If space becomes scarce, you have to delete songs again. We'll show you how it works on iOS and on PC or Mac.
iPhone and iPad: Remove songs and albums from Apple Music
Storage space is the fastest on iPhone and iPad. Here you can easily delete the songs:
- Start the music app and switch to the media library at the bottom left.
- Find the song or album you want here.
- Hold your finger on it and select the "Remove Download" option.
- Tip: If you play a song in the app, you can also delete it directly in the player. To do this, tap the invisible button at the bottom left of the player.
iTunes: Delete songs from Apple Music
Proceed similarly on Mac and PC:
- Open iTunes and find the song you want.
- Right-click on the entry of the suffering and select the "Delete" option.
- With "Remove download" you only delete the song from the current computer and from offline playback.
- To remove it from all devices, select the "Delete" option. Then he disappears completely from the media library.
