Record working time by NFC tag
NFC tags make everyday life easier - including when recording working hours. We'll show you how it's done.
Prerequisite: setting up NFC apps on the smartphone
Nowadays, with NFC tags, you can easily execute many commands. It is enough to just hold your smartphone briefly on the NFC day. First, however, you have to set up the additional apps on your smartphone.
- Install the two free additional apps "Trigger" and "Time recording" as usual on your smartphone.
- Another requirement is, of course, that your Android smartphone has NFC (Near Field Communication) and that you also have NFC tags.
Set up working time recording with NFC
Once you've installed the two apps, you're ready to set up the task. Tip: You can also carry out these steps one after the other using the image gallery.
- First open "Time recording". Select "Change task" and then tap on the three dots in the small window. There you select "New job".
- Give the task a name, for example your activity, and then save. Now you can select your activity via "Change task".
Working time recording via NFC: Set up trigger
After you have completed the settings in the "Time recording" app, set up the task in the trigger.
- Now switch to the "Trigger" app. Use the plus symbol to create a new task. First select "NFC" using the plus. In the "Set up task" section, select the plus symbol again and select "Open activity".
- Click on "Next" and select "Time recording" as the application. Select the activity "com.dynamicg.timerecording.PublicServices $ CheckIn" and then "Add to task".
- If you click "Next", you will come to the "Toggle" option. Select the plus sign again to end the time recording. However, you select "com.dynamicg.timerecording.PublicServices $ CheckOut" as the activity.
- Tap "Done" and place your smartphone on the NFC tag to describe it.
