Arduino: send SMS
To send an SMS with your Arduino, you need a GSM module, which you have to set up beforehand.
- First start the Arduino IDE and click on the "File" tab.
- Then move the mouse to "Examples" and navigate to "Examples from own libraries".
- Navigate here to "GSMSHIELD" and click on "GSM_GPRSLibrary_SMS".
- Scroll down to line 40 and remove the two slashes at the beginning of lines 40 and 41.
- Enter your own number and an SMS in the command in line 40: »if (sms.SendSMS (" + 49123456789 ", " Hallo CHIP! "))«
- Finally upload the code to the Arduino and put the GSM module into operation as described above.
