The tactical shooter Arma 3 has been around for a few years, so the system requirements are comparatively low. Our overview shows which hardware the game requires.
Arma 3: Minimum system requirements
In order for Arma 3 to run smoothly on your PC, you should at least meet the following requirements. However, please note that when using mods, better hardware may be required.
- Processor: At least an Intel Dual-Core with 2.4 GHz or an AMD Dual-Core Athlon with 2.5 GHz are required.
- RAM: At least 2 GB of RAM are a basic requirement for the game.
- Graphics card: The developers recommend at least a NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT, ATI Radeon HD 3830 or Intel HD Graphics 3000 with Shader Model 4 and 512 MB VRAM. The support of DirectX 10.0 is important.
- Hard disk: 15 GB of free space is also required.
Arma 3: Recommended system requirements
If you want to enjoy Arma 3 in full graphic splendor, you need to upgrade your PC a little:
- Processor: We recommend an Intel Core i5-2300, an AMD Phenom II X4 940 or a better CPU.
- RAM: The developers recommend 4 GB of RAM.
- Graphics card: You should also use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or an AMD Radeon 7750 with 1 GB VRAM or an even better graphics card for DirectX 11.
- Hard disk: 20 GB of free storage space is recommended.
