Assassin's Creed 2: How to Solve the Glyph Puzzle

Throughout Assassin's Creed 2, you'll come across 20 different glyph puzzles. The puzzles are extremely tricky and can quickly get you white hot. In our practical tip below, we explain step by step how you can solve the puzzles and thus uncover the secret of subject 16.

Glyph puzzle 1: in the beginning

In this picture puzzle you have to select five pictures with an apple on them.

• These are pictures 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9.

Glyph puzzle 2: 64 squares

In this puzzle you have to correctly arrange three paintings again.

• You can arrange the parts correctly by selecting and rotating the individual circles.

Glyph puzzle 3: offspring

You will be shown three photos of Fanklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Houdini and Mahatma Gandhi. In the photos you must use an infrared scanner to find the hidden fragments of Eden.

• In the photo by Roosevelt you can find the Edensplitter on an extended line of its arms.
• In the photo by Houdini you will find the Edensplitter a little way below his right hand.
• In the photo by Gandhi you will find the Eden splinter at the level of the elbow.

Glyph Puzzle 4: Infinite Knowledge

In this picture puzzle you have to pay close attention to the instructions given.

• In the first photo you choose bazooka on the soldier's back.
• In the second photo you take the soldier who is crouching in front of a wall.
• In the third photo the bayonets of the soldiers in the first row.
• In the fourth photo you have to select the light brown monster.

Glyph Puzzle 5: Power Instruments

In this puzzle, you must first find out the pictures on which swords can be seen.

• Select pictures 2, 3, 6, 8 and 9 to go to the second part of the puzzle.
• In the second part of the puzzle you have to find out the pictures on which rods are depicted. Select images 3, 6, 8, 9 and 10.

Glyph Puzzle 6: Brothers

In this glyph puzzle you have to solve four ring puzzles.

• In the first puzzle, turn the first ring to the right ten times. Then turn the second ring three times to the left and the fourth one to the right. This moves the third ring. Turn the fifth ring to the right three times. Now you just have to turn the last ring to the right place.
• For the second puzzle, turn the first ring three times to the left, then the third ring to the left. You have to turn the fourth ring four times to the left and then the fifth ring to the right again. You can now turn the last ring to the right place.
• In the third puzzle, you have to turn the first ring three times to the left, the second twice to the right and then the third ring once to the right. Now move the fourth 4 ring seven times to the right and then the fifth one to the right. Finally, turn the second three times to the left.
• The fourth and last puzzle is solved by turning the first ring five times to the right and the second four times to the right. Move the third ring to the right by one position while turning the fourth ring to the right twice. You have to turn the fifth ring twice to the left and the second ring twice to the right. You can now move the first ring to the corresponding position.

Glyph Puzzle 7: Keep searching and you will find

In this puzzle, you have to find five pictures that highlight the color red.

• Select images 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6.
• In the next picture you need to select the Eden splinter next to Jesus' right hip.

Glyph Puzzle 8: Martyr

In the third picture, you first move the fireball to the picture of Saint Joan, who was burned at the stake, and then the photo of Rasputin, who had a significant influence on the tsar family, on that of Nicholas the Second.

• Select the tip of the stick in the hand of Nicholas II.
• Choose the sword of Joan of Arc.
• In the third picture you have to move the fireball to the picture of St. Johanna. Then move the photo of Rasputin to that of Nicholas II.

Glyph Puzzle 9: Does Trick

In this puzzle you will be confronted with both photos and a code puzzle.

• Select the right side of his chest in the photo of Houdini.
• Select his heart in the photo of Gandhi.
• The answer to the code puzzle is 312.

Glyph puzzle 10: Apollo

This glyph puzzle deals with the moon landing and presents you with two picture puzzles and a puzzle.

• Select the lunar module in the lower left part of the picture.
• In the puzzle that follows you have to turn the fifth ring six times to the left, the second ring four times to the left and the fourth three times to the right. You now have to move the third ring five times to the left in order to bring the first ring into its correct position.
• In the next picture you will find the Eden apple you are looking for at the foot of the astronaut.

Glyph Puzzle 11: The Inventor

• In the first picture you have to touch all the light bulbs with the flash.
• In the next picture you will find a hidden symbol below the tower between the two windows.
• In the third picture you will find the Eden splinter you are looking for in Tesla's lap.

Glyph Puzzle 12: Titans of Industry

• Set the combination 240 to solve the code puzzle.
• In the second picture you have to put out the light bulbs with the dollar sign.
• In the third picture you select the glowing ball in the middle.
• To complete the puzzle, you need to select the following symbols: two lines and a point, three lines and a line with two points.

Glyph Riddle 13: I became dead, the world destroyer

This riddle relates to Robert Oppenheimer, the inventor of the atomic bomb.

• Enter the following string: 5 select the circle and the square above a square, 2 select the circle and 9 the triangle.
• In the second part of the puzzle, just press the button.
• To complete the puzzle, use the Geiger counter to discover a sequence of numbers in the lower left area.

Glyph Puzzle 14: Bloodlines

In this puzzle you have to find out the pictures depicting women with the gods.

• Select images 1, 4, 6, 7 and 10.

Glyph Puzzle 15: Guardians

This puzzle is again a rotating puzzle.

• Turn the third ring right twice. This rotates the fourth ring directly. Turn the fifth and first ring four times to the right. Then you have to turn the fourth and first ring five times to the right. The fifth and first ring must now be turned five times to the left. Then turn the second ring five times to the left. Finally, turn the fifth and second ring five times to the right.
• To complete the puzzle, you have to move the Assassin's logo over the targets.

Glpyhen Puzzle 16: The Cavalry

• Move the Assassin's emblem to the word "Tunguska" on the map.
• Then you have to move the stick to Tesla's photo.

Glyph Puzzle 17: The Bunker

In this code puzzle you have to assign suitable symbols to the numbers.

• For the 7, choose the unclosed square that has a stitch in the middle.
• For the 9, choose the polygon with two tips pointing from the top and bottom to the center.
• For the 1 choose the diamond with a circle in the middle.
• At the end you have to find the assassin emblem in the picture. This is located in the upper right corner of the bunker.

Glyph puzzle 18: synapses

In this code puzzle you have to select three symbols.

• Select these three symbols: three martini glasses side by side, seven glasses in three rows and three angles with another glass.
• In the next part of the puzzle you have to move the cursor over the neurotransmitters so that they start to glow.

Glyph Puzzle 19: Fourth Day

In the picture puzzle you have to look for pictures of the sun.

• You can find the suns in pictures 2, 3, 5, 8 and 9.
• You will now have to find a smaller image of the earth in an image of the sun that appears afterwards. This is hidden from the center in the lower left area.

Glyph Puzzle 20: The Origin of Species

• Rotate the fifth circle right ten times while rotating the fourth twice left.
• The first ring is related to the third. Turn the third ring right twice.
• Then turn the second circle five times to the right and the first three times to the left. Then an image appears on which you select the eye above.
• In the following code puzzle you can enter any combination to get ahead.
• In the last picture you have to move the cursor over the skeleton to properly assemble the bones.
