Assassin's Creed 4: conquer all forts
All of the forts in Assassin's Creed 4 can be conquered in more or less the same way: First you weaken the defense by sea combat, then you seize the fort rule in the fight hand-to-hand. What else you should pay attention to, read here.
How to shoot the forts in Assassin's Creed ready to storm
In Assassin's Creed 4, you should align tactics and ship equipment with the difficulty of the fort being attacked.
- There are three levels of difficulty: easy, medium and difficult. You can tackle the light sea forts with a slightly upgraded Jackdaw, broadside cannons and rotating basses are sufficient. For the middle forts we recommend upgrading with mortars, for the heavy ones the mortar bullets should be at least level 3 and the broadside cannons at least level 5.
- First, focus on the mortar towers, because they do the most damage. It is best to fire at these positions with your own mortar shells from a safe distance. If the towers are off, take care of the cannons in the walls. You can also lay them down with a few broad sides in ruins.
- As you attack the fort's defenses, don't forget to dodge enemy missiles. As soon as you see that the yellow hit zone appears next to you, "brake" hard and change course. This is the only way to avoid enemy mortar fire.
Conquer forts
Once you've weakened the fort's defenses sufficiently, you'll have to take care of one or more officers inside the facility. Just focus on it and don't worry about the chaos around it. Once the officers have blessed the time, all other enemies lose their morale. Now you can calmly take care of the commander who has nothing to oppose your blades.
In Assassin's Creed 4, you will survive every sword fight.
