Asus laptop no longer works - what to do?
- First, make sure that the battery is correctly inserted in the laptop. This is the case as soon as it clicks into place.
- The battery may just be empty. Therefore, connect the laptop to the wall socket using the mains cable.
- If the Asus laptop still gives no sign of life, first pull the power plug out of the socket and remove the battery.
- To do this, you have to release the lock on the underside of the laptop and then remove the battery.
- Now press the [Power] button several times in succession. However, the laptop will not turn on because there is no battery installed.
- Now push the battery back into the laptop until it clicks into place and connect the power plug. Now try to turn on the Asus device by pressing the [Power] button.
