Audible doesn't actually support Chromecast. The Amazon company does not want to support the competition. But there is a way to use Audible on Chromecast too - at least for owners of an Android smartphone.
Use Audible on Chromecast mobile - so it'll work
In order to output Audible on Chromecast, you need the Cast app in addition to a Chromecast audio. However, this only works with Android.
- Install Google Cast and start the app.
- Then click on the menu button in the top left corner and select "Cast screen / audio".
- Now you can start the Audible app and just have to press the play button.
