Use Audible on Fire TV - is that possible?

Actually, it shouldn't be a problem to play audiobooks from the company's own provider Audible on the Amazon Fire TV. We will clarify whether this is possible in this practical tip.

Use Audible on Fire TV - unfortunately not possible

Hard to believe, but true: So far it has not been possible to use Audible on the Amazon Fire TV. This is so surprising because Audible is a company of the Amazon group. Nevertheless, there is no Audible app on the Fire TV yet. There is also no known date on which a corresponding app should come onto the market.

Alternative: Chromecast

The competition Google is actually not compatible with Audible, but the use on the Chromecast works at least via a detour - but only for Android users.

• After installing the app, click on the menu button and select "Cast screen / audio".
• Once you have transferred your screen to the desired device, you can open Audible and press the play button.
