It is not only with iTunes that CDs can be converted into MP3 - this also works with Windows Media Player. We show you how in this practical tip.
Convert audio CDs to MP3 in just a few steps
- Open Windows Media Player and navigate to the CD on the right. Now all songs on the CD are displayed. By default, all files are marked with a check mark. You can also remove the check marks if you only want to convert individual songs.
- Now click on "Copy Settings" in the menu bar and select MP3 under "Format".
- To change the folder where the MP3 songs are saved, click again under "Copy Settings" on "More Options" and then on "Change". In this window you can also select the quality of the songs.
- Once you have set everything up to your requirements, simply start the process by clicking on "Copy CD". After copying, you will find all songs in MP3 format in the Windows Media Player library and in the previously selected folder.
