Foreign Internet flat rate: tariffs in comparison
If you would also like to surf abroad with your smartphone, there are usually very cheap internet flats. We present the tariffs of the major providers in comparison.
Vodafone: Internet flat rate for abroad
- Vodafone offers suitable international tariffs for a wide variety of travel destinations and needs. With the EasyTravel Tag, you can, for example, use your usual tariff for EUR 2.99 abroad without restrictions.
- Worldwide, the one-day TravelPackage Data option costs just under 6 euros for 100 MB. After the 100 MB has expired, the connection is terminated. For 15 euros you get 150 MB over a period of 7 days.
- But PrePaid customers can also use CallYa travel packages. A flat with 50 MB volume costs 3 euros, 350 MB costs 15 euros and 700 MB costs 25 euros. The packages are valid for one day, one week or two weeks.

T-Mobile: Internet flat rate for abroad
Telekom offers its customers two different flat options. Depending on whether you are a prepaid or contract customer, the conditions differ slightly:
- WeekPass: With the WeekPass you get a volume of 150 MB, which is valid for seven days. Price: around 15 euros. If you are a contract customer, the connection will be terminated in some countries after the 150 MB has been used up, in others you will only be throttled. As a prepaid customer, the connection is terminated in each country.
- DayPass M: With the DayPass M you get a volume of 50 MB for around 3 euros. After the 24 hours have expired or the 50 MB has been used up, the connection is terminated.
O2: Internet flat rate for abroad
- Travel Day Pack: This option gives you 50 MB for just under two euros within Europe. The flat ends after the 24 hours have expired or the 50 MB has been used up.
- Data Pack World: This internet flat rate is almost outrageous compared to other providers: For 1.99 euros, you currently receive a volume of 6 MB worldwide, which expires after 24 hours at the latest. To do this, reply with the text "WORLD" to the welcome SMS when you enter the country.
E-Plus: Internet flat rate for abroad
E-Plus offers three flat rates abroad, one of which is even free. All three flats can be found on this E-Plus website. Flats for trips outside of Europe are unfortunately not offered. The three flats at a glance:
- E-Plus TOP travel advantage Plus: Within Europe you get a small 10 MB flat for free. Simply send REISEPLUS to the 22002. After the 10 MB has been used up, the connection is cut again. Perfect for those who just want to go to WhatsApp.
- EU travel package week: Also within Europe you get an 8 day flat with 150 MB volume for 10 euros. Simply send an SMS with the content REISEZEIT to 66306.
- EU Convenience Travel Package: For 20 euros, you will receive an 8-day flat rate with a volume of 300 MB as well as 150 free minutes and free SMS. To book, send TRAVEL COMFORT to 66407.
Internet flat rate for other countries - other providers
- ALDI Talk: With the EU Internet Package 150 you get a 7-day flat with 150 MB volume for 5 euros.
- Edeka-Mobil: With the EU roaming data option you get a volume of 100 MB for about 5 euros. This flat is also valid for 7 days.
- 1 & 1: Depending on the continent, 1 & 1 offers you a wide variety of flats at different conditions.
- Congstar: Congstar also provides you with various international flat rates.
- Base: Prepaid customers receive the EU Internet Package 100 for just under 5 euros with a volume of 100 MB. Contract customers can choose between three other flat rates.
- Blue: With the EU Internet Package 100 you also get 100 MB for blue for 5 euros. The flat has a term of 7 days.
- Simyo: Simyo has the same offer. With the EU SPRACH PACKAGE 100 you get 100 MB volume for just under 5 euros. Simyo also has two other packages on offer.
