Install AutoCAD on Windows 10 - does it work?

If you want to use AutoCAD under Windows 10, this is currently only possible to a limited extent. We tell you which users should switch to Windows 10 and who would rather stay away from the new operating system.

• AutoCAD 2016 is fully compatible with Windows 10. Nothing stands in the way of an installation here. The situation is different with versions 2013 and 2014. The versions are not supported under Windows 10 and also no longer receive an update from Acosoft.
• The AutoCAD 2015 version should receive an update and will therefore be compatible with Windows 10. However, the problem has not yet been solved. The error is in the Microsoft .NET Framework.
• If you want to install AutoCAD 2015 under Windows 10 now, you have to pretend Windows that Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.5 and not 4.6 is installed. To do this, change the version number in the "Version" value in the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ NET Framework Setup \ NDP \ v4 \ Client.
