Car radio makes noise when driving - what to do?
Noise from the car radio can be quite annoying. This practical tip shows you how to get rid of these noises while driving.
You can do this if the car radio emits noise
- First, check whether it is only due to the radio or whether the interference noise also occurs when playing a CD or AUX.
- If there are no problems while playing a CD or AUX, it may be due to radio reception. Therefore, test a different frequency.
- Therefore, check whether the antenna is correctly attached or has a defect.
- It may also be that the radio reception is temporarily disturbed by storms or other environmental influences and the music is therefore interrupted by noise.
- Another cause could be a defect in one of the boxes. Put the balance on the settings alternately on a box to test it.
- The cables of the boxes may not be shielded correctly, so that they emit interference signals and ultimately there is interference noise.
- Open the bonnet and check that the spark plugs are secure. If they are loose, they may be responsible for the noise.
