Car radio gets louder and quieter by itself - what to do?
With many car radios, the volume fluctuates while driving - the sound becomes louder and quieter depending on the speed. We show you how to switch this function off in the following instructions.
Car radio is getting louder and quieter: Switch off the speed volume
If the volume of your radio changes while driving, the speed-dependent volume control (speed volume) is probably preset.
- To switch off the Speedvolume function, first go to the menu of your radio.
- Search for the settings and there for sound or audio settings.
- Here you will find a function called "Speed volume", "Adjust volume" or similar (see picture). Deactivate this function.
Play video
If your car radio does not have a USB or Bluetooth interface, you have to burn your favorite music to a CD. Luckily, it works very easily with iTunes, as our video instructions show.
Depending on the manufacturer and radio type, the menu can be structured very differently. If in doubt, check the manual of your car radio for the function described above. In another practical tip, we will show you how to listen to Spotify on your car radio.
