Activate autoresponder in 1 & 1 webmailer - how it works
If you set up an autoresponder at 1 & 1 webmailer, you are undisturbed on vacation and inform the senders of new emails about your absence. The responder automatically replies to every incoming email with a text you have written.
Activate the autoresponder for the 1 & 1 webmailer
The autoresponder is no longer activated in the webmailer, but in the Control Center. If you are still using the old webmailer, you will find suitable instructions in the next paragraph.
- Open the 1 & 1 Control Center and log in to your account.
- Click on the "Email" category and select the desired email address.
- In addition to the "Autoresponder" option, you will now find the "Edit" button.
- Set the autoresponder to "On" and fill out all fields.
- Your settings are saved and the autoresponder activated using the "OK" button.
Activate the autoresponder in the old 1 & 1 webmailer
Since some 1 & 1 customers do not yet have access to the latest webmailer, we will show you the alternative solution here.
- Open the 1und1 webmailer.
- Log in with your email address and your password.
- Click the Settings button at the top right of the screen.
- Now select the item "Absence" in the menu on the left.
- Activate the check mark and enter your message.
- If you then click the "OK" button, the autoresponder is activated.
