Avast error: "A setiface error has occurred: 2" - what to do?

Remove Avast completely without errors
- First, download the avast software uninstallation program.
- Start the tool, select the correct Avast version and click the "Continue" button.
- The program now tries to completely uninstall Avast. You will then receive a notification.

- If Windows was started in safe mode, turn off Avast protection. To do this, right-click on the Avast icon at the bottom of the taskbar. Under "Avast protection control", select the option "Permanently deactivate".
- Also make sure that no other anti-virus programs are active. If this is the case, you should also deactivate or uninstall this software.
- The removal should now work with the avast software uninstallation program. Alternatively, you still have the classic Windows uninstallation.
Reinstall Avast or use the alternative
