AVG Anti-Virus: Add exception - how it works
If AVG Anti-Virus blocks a program on your computer, you must add an exception. You can then use the application again as usual.
Set exception in AVG Anti-Virus
In AVG Anti-Virus you can set up exceptions for files, URLs and entire directories:
- First open the AVG user interface.
- Call up the "Options" and then the "Advanced Settings ..." item in the top right menu.
- Click on the "Exceptions" item in the left sidebar.
- You can now create a new rule using the "Add exception" button.
- To do this, define an exception type and select the desired file or URL.
- Finally confirm your selection by clicking on "OK".
