AVG AntiVirus does not start - what to do?
To get AVG AntiVirus up and running again, follow these steps:
- To fix this error you should uninstall AVG. To do this, download and install the free Revo Uninstaller tool.
- Start Revo Uninstaller after installation and wait for the list of installed programs to be created.
- Then double-click on "AVG AntiVirus" and select "Advanced" as the uninstallation method.
- After the successful deinstallation, the tool searches for remaining files and folders as well as registry entries.
- You can finally remove them from the PC by clicking on "Mark all" and "Delete".
- After the uninstallation has been completed, restart your PC.
- You can then download and reinstall AVG.
