Fritz! WLAN Repeater 1750E: The setup
As with AVM, there are basically two ways of starting up this WLAN repeater.
- On the one hand, you can simply press the WPS button on your router and then on the repeater - the encrypted connection is then made automatically.
- If you are not sure whether you are still in the radio range of the WLAN to be amplified, use the second, somewhat more complex variant: You plug the repeater into a socket and connect it to the one from a notebook, PC, smartphone or tablet Repeater built WiFi network. The password and the network name can be found on the bottom of the repeater.
- After your computer, tablet or cell phone has connected to the repeater, open a window in your Internet browser and enter "fritz.repeater" in the address bar - an assistant will now guide you through the setup.
- First set a password for the Fritz! Repeater interface. Then select your network from the list of available WiFi and enter the corresponding WiFi password - done. The connection is now established and your original network is expanded.
