You can find a barcode almost everywhere in everyday life. This can also be easily created using Excel on a PC. In this practical tips guide, we will tell you how to do this.
Create barcode with Excel - it's that easy
With just a few steps you have created your own barcode in Excel:
- First download the required add-in.
- Then open Excel and switch to the "Add-Ins" tab.
- Click on "TBarCode Panel" to open it.
- Then navigate the mouse pointer to a free cell and click on it.
- You can then select a barcode type.
- Then enter the barcode information or select a cell by clicking "Connect to Cell".
- Once you have done this, you can adjust the properties of the barcode (such as width or height) as you wish.
- With a click on "Insert barcode" the barcode is inserted into the cell you selected.
