Create barcode with Word - so it'll work
You can also easily create a barcode using Word - all you need is a small add-in. In this practical tip, we show how the setup works and how you can add barcodes directly into your Word document.
Create barcodes in Word with TBarCode Office
Word does not offer a function to create barcodes. You can, however, use the "TBarCode Office" plugin, which is simply installed in Word.
- You can download the tool from tec-it.com. To do this, go to the link "Download Barcode Add-In for Microsoft Word".
- Click on the loaded EXE file and follow the installation wizard.
- After the installation is complete, Word opens and an introduction to the plugin is displayed. There you can, for example, read the different types of barcodes.
- To insert a barcode, open a new Word document and switch to the "Plugins" tab above.
- Click on the "TBarCode Panel" field. Here you first confirm the licensing of your trial version. You can then use the tool to its full extent for ten days.
- The TBar Code menu is now shown on the right. Enter the barcode type, the data contained and the desired size here and click on "Insert barcode".
- Note: To be able to use the program permanently, you must purchase a license.
