Battlefield 1: Show FPS - how it works
If you always want to keep an eye on the frame rate or check the value briefly, you can display the FPS in Battlefield 1. Here's how to do it.
Show FPS in Battlefield 1
Open the console in Battlefield 1 using the [^] key on the top left of your keyboard. With the command "PerfOverlay.drawfps 1" the FPS are displayed in the top right of the screen. If you want to display the FPS permanently, follow these instructions:
- First open the file path "C: \ Programe (x86) \ Origin Games \ Battlefield 1".
- Right-click on an empty area in the folder.
- Under "New" select the option "Text Document" and open it.
- Enter the command "PerfOverlay.drawfps 1" as text, save and close the file.
- Now change the name of the file to "user.cfg". You may have to change the file extension manually.
