Battlefield 5 system requirements and release
You can play Battlefield 5 on EA Access on October 11, 2018. With the Deluxe Edition you can then start the entire game on October 16. The normal release for the standard version will only take place on October 19. EA has also already announced the system requirements:
- Operating system: You need at least Windows 7 in the 64-bit version, but the current Windows 10 in the 64-bit version is recommended.
- Processor: EA requires at least the performance of an Intel Core i5 6600K or an AMD FX-6350. The best performance is from an Intel Core i7 4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X.
- Memory: 8 GB RAM is enough for Battlefield 5, but 12 GB are better
- Graphics card: An Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or an AMD Radeon HD 7850 with 2 GB VRAM each are sufficient. However, we recommend an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB VRAM or an AMD Radeon RX 580 with 8 GB VRAM.
- DirectX: You need at least version 11.0. However, version 11.1 is better
- Hard drive space: The new Battlefield takes up about 40 GB of storage space
- Internet connection: To use the online mode, your internet speed should be at least 512 kb / s in the download. So you can play online at a comparatively slow speed.
