Battlenet offline or down - you can do that
If Battlenet is offline or down, you can no longer fully access your games and other functions such as the shop or friend lists. This practical tip shows you what you can do in this case.
Battlenet offline or down - you can do that
Occasionally Battlenet may be offline. This is mostly due to maintenance work on the servers or a malfunction of the service.
- First, you should rule out that there is no problem with your PC. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet and that no firewall or other security software is blocking Battlenet's Internet access. If in doubt, temporarily switch off such programs.
- You can also check Battlenet's online status. To do this, visit the pages of Isitdownrightnow or Aller Störungen.
- If there is a problem with the Battlenet servers or maintenance work is taking place, you can also find the corresponding messages on the Blizzard official Twitter channel.
- Otherwise, you have no option but to wait for the problem to be resolved. As a rule, the malfunction should be short-lived and you should be able to access Battlenet again soon.
