If you want to end your offer early on the eBay shopping platform, we will show you how to do it here.
Reason for the premature termination of your eBay offer
- One reason could be that your item was lost or broken through no fault of yours and is therefore no longer functional.
- Another reason would be if the relevant nature of the item has changed or you have made a mistake.
- Please note: If you made a mistake when creating the offer, first try to edit your offer. How to do this is explained on eBay.
Requirements: End offer
For deals that end in less than 12 hours, there are a few things to consider.
- If your offer runs for more than 12 hours, you can easily end it early. If bids have been placed, you can decide whether you want to submit the item to the highest bidder or delete all bids.
- If your offer is completed in less than 12 hours, you can only end your offer if there are no bids. If so, you must sell the item to the highest bidder. If you have set a minimum price that has not yet been reached, you cannot end the offer.
- Please note: Unless you have clearly marked your offer as "non-binding", compensation can be claimed if the offer ends early!
End offer early - how it works
- Call up the form for the early termination of offers and enter your article number there. You will find this in your offer, on "My eBay" or in the confirmation email.
- If there are bids, you can either delete all bids and end the offer, or sell the item to the highest bidder.
- Choose the reason why you end your offer early.
- Your offer has now ended and will no longer be displayed on eBay. Unsuccessful bidders of your offer will receive an email informing them that the offer has ended.
