What is already possible in other countries now spills over to Germany - ordering via app.
- McDonald's would like to attract more customers in 2019 by placing their orders via the app and only having to pick them up.
- By the end of 2019, all branches should have this service, thus avoiding queuing and waiting at the till.
- You can also pay directly via the app, it is not yet known which payment methods can be used there.
- Having the food delivered is still not possible. However, you have the option of eating in the restaurant or picking it up at the cash register or at the McDrive.
- How this theory of shorter waiting times feels in practice, you can try out yourself in selected branches from the second quarter of 2019.
