To be able to delete files, you must have Windows authorization. This practical tip shows you how to get this authorization.
Receive authorization automatically

- Right-click the file you want to delete. In the context menu you will find the entry "Unlocker".
- After selecting the option, "Unlocker" searches for processes that prevent the file from being deleted.

Obtain access manually
- Right click on the file you want to delete and select "Properties".
- Go to the "Security" tab and select the "Advanced" option. The "Advanced security settings" will then open.
- Go to the "Owner" tab and click "Edit". Select your account and click "Apply".
- Close all windows and then right-click again on the file "Properties" -> "Security".
- This time, under "Group or user names:", click the "Edit" button.
