You can put most duvets in the dryer, but you should follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly. In this article we have put together what else you should consider when drying the duvet.
Duvet in the dryer - you should note that
The best solution to dry your washed duvet is in the fresh air. However, you should not expose the blanket to the blazing sun. Place a drying rack in a warm, airy place in the garden and place the duvet on it. Shake the duvet occasionally and then turn the blanket over.
- If you do not have a garden at your disposal, use the wash symbol to clarify in advance whether your duvet is suitable for the dryer.
- Only put the duvet in a dryer that is large enough. Otherwise, the filling is squeezed together and the bedspread takes on an uncomfortably rigid shape.
- So that the duvet becomes fluffy and the down does not clump, put a tennis ball or two in the dryer.
- You should also let the duvet dry slowly. Accordingly, set the lowest possible temperature. You should not select more than 30 degrees. The drying process then takes a few hours, but in the end it is worth the effort.
- After taking the duvet out of the dryer, shake it well once.
- Tip: So that the duvet is available again in the evening, you should start washing as soon as you get up.
