In order to capture your subject optimally, you should freeze movements. There is no blurring and the image looks very sharp.
Freeze motion: camera and settings
- Set the shutter speed as low as possible. However, your picture should not be too dark. Therefore, increase the ISO value if necessary.
- The brighter and more aperture you take pictures, the slower you can set your shutter speed.
- Make sure your lens has fast auto focus. You shouldn't need too long to focus on a subject.
- For spontaneous recordings we recommend the TV mode at Canon, for example. Here you can control the shutter speed and the ISO value manually. The open aperture is set automatically.
If you follow these settings, your picture will be sharp, bright enough and the movement will be perfectly frozen. You can also subsequently convert this into a trendy 8-bit look.
