If you are looking for a new job, you should always update your resume and cover letter. You should pay attention to this:
- Cover letter: The cover letter is the introductory document for your application. Here you should specifically address the advertised position and your own abilities.
- It is important, of course, that you avoid spelling mistakes. Keywords such as "team spirit" or "willingness to perform" are always well received in the cover letter.
- Curriculum vitae: The curriculum vitae gives an insight into your career path. Accordingly, you should make your resume uniform and clear.
- Therefore, always write the resume on the PC. On the CV you can delete activities that are not relevant for the advertised position.
- "Third page": Alternatively, you can add the so-called third page to your application documents. This can be a letter of motivation, for example, which is often useful especially in social professions.
- Attachments always belong to the end of the application documents. Attach all necessary certificates and evidence there. The attachments should be arranged as specified in the curriculum vitae, i.e. the newest first.
- You then complete your application with a simple application folder. Alternatively, you can design a simple cover page for the first page.
