Print the picture on several pages - how it works
You can also print out an image on several pages and then stick the pages together to form a large poster. Please note that almost all printers always have a white border. With our instructions you can still print the image quickly and precisely on several pages.
Print the picture on several pages
To print an image on several pages, you need the free tool PosteRazor. Download PosteRazor, install the tool and then open it.
- Then the first thing you have to do is to select the image from your computer using the folder button. To ensure that the printed photo is not pixelated, you should only use large, high-resolution images. You will see this in the next step.
- Then select the paper format on which you print the picture - usually it is A4 or A3. You can also set the margin if you know the exact margin dimensions of your printer. Otherwise leave the edges unchanged at 1.5 cm.
- The next thing is about the overlapping of the pages: To ensure that nothing is missing when the individual pages are put together to form the poster, the adjacent edges overlap somewhat. If you want the strip printed twice to be wider, you can enter this here. Otherwise click on "Next".
- Now you can finally choose the poster size: How many pages wide and high do you want to print the image on? You can use the [+] and [-] next to "Height" and Width "to specify this and view it in the preview.
- If you are satisfied with the preview, click on "Next" and then on the floppy disk at the top. This saves the image as a PDF document.
- Finally, open the PDF document you just created and click the "Print" button. Now all you have to do is glue the sheets together to form a poster.
The reverse is much easier: On the next page we explain how you can print multiple images on one page.
