Keep image noise low at high outside temperatures

At high temperatures, the mobility of the electrons in the chip increases. This makes it difficult to keep the image noise low. In warm countries like Egypt, the effect naturally comes to the fore more than in the interior of Greenland or in the fjords of Norway. This practical tip shows you how to get the best out of your pictures.
Reduce temperature-related image noise
Unfortunately, the noise effect at high temperatures cannot be completely avoided. With these tips, however, you can weaken him a little.
- Do not expose your camera to the sun unnecessarily. Otherwise, black housings in particular get very hot. As soon as you take a break or do not take pictures for a long time, you should stow the camera in the photo bag.
- Incidentally, you can convert the bag with cold packs and an insulating layer, for example from bubble wrap or a cut-out carry bag for frozen goods, into a mobile mini fridge.
- Avoid long exposures. There, too, the noise rises visibly, since the sensor overheats even at low outside temperatures at dusk.
