Print screen content - so it'll work
In order to print the screen content with Windows 7 or Windows 8, you must first take a screenshot. There are various key combinations for this. We'll show you how it works.
1. Take a screenshot
- To record the entire screen, use the "Print" key on the keyboard. The screenshot is saved in the clipboard.
- To record only the content of a window, use the key combination Alt + Druck.
- With some laptop models, you also have to press the Fn key, i.e. Fn + print for the entire screen and Fn + Alt + print for the content of an open window.
Insert and print screenshot in Paint
- Now open the image processing program Paint and insert the screenshot with the key combination Ctrl + V.
- Use the key combination Ctrl + P to open the print menu and print the screenshot.
- You can also paste the screenshot into Word using the same keyboard shortcut and print it there.
