Call on-screen keyboard under Ubuntu
There are various on-screen keyboards for Linux. Ubuntu, for example, has the virtual keyboard "onboard" in its luggage by default, but you can also use other on-screen keyboards under the Linux operating system.
- To call the Ubuntu on-screen keyboard "onboard", press the keys [Alt] + [F2] and enter "onboard" - without quotes.
- If you want to use the Ubuntu virtual keyboard directly in the applications, right-click on "Applications" and then on "Edit menu".
- Then select "Add / Remove" and choose "Accessibility".
- Finally, activate the "On-screen keyboard" option.
