Bing Image Search - Tips and Tricks
In addition to Google, it is also worth using Bing for image searches. The following tips will help you get better results than your competitor.
Tips for Bing # 1: cache elements in the image search
- In order not to forget pictures and to reserve them for a later visit, Bing has the feature of temporarily storing elements.
- In the overview, click on the plus symbol on the left edge of the picture to reserve the picture.
- Then select the "My saved items" menu item to access all the selected images.
Tips for Bing # 2: Align image search for an image
- If you have found a picture that you particularly like, you can go over this picture and activate the "Find more pictures like this" function.
- This will show you pictures that are very similar to what you have selected and you can choose from a much wider selection.
Tips for Bing # 3: Track image search
- If after a long search you have forgotten which search terms you have already used, Bing can show you this history.
- You will not be referred directly to the last pages, but will be shown the specific search queries directly.
- The function can be found in the top right corner by clicking on the three horizontal lines and selecting "Search history".
Tips for Bing # 4: Limit image searches to GIFs
- In addition to normal, still images, GIFs are particularly popular in messengers. Bing has the function to filter your search query directly for GIFs.
- To do this, select the "Filter" button and click on the "Animated GIF" sub-item in the "Type" category.
- If you move the mouse over the GIF, this will be played and you do not have to open an additional window.
