Bioshock Infinite: The Best Easter Eggs
In Bioshock Infinite you will encounter numerous Easter Eggs. We have summarized the best allusions for you. Warning: Spoiler danger - you should read the article only after you have already played through Bioshock Infinite.
Self irony in Bioshock Infinite
- Humor is when you can laugh at yourself: Irrational Games, the developer of Bioshock Infinite, makes no secret of the fact that they have postponed the game's release several times.
- And so on the "Battleship Bay" level you will find an arcade in which you can see various episodes of "Schlaukopf and Schwachkopf", one of them entitled "Flawless Flintlock". Elizabeth comments that this is the latest episode and that it has been postponed three times.
Bioshock Easter Egg: Anachronistic music tracks
Bioshock Infinite plays with trips to other times and universes made possible by cracks. Jeremiah Fink uses the cracks with his brother Albert to make hits of other times and universes famous in Columbia and to collect money with them. During the course of the game you will repeatedly come across phonographs on which modern, well-known songs in the musical style of the 10s and 20s are presented. Among others are:
- "God Only Knows" by the the Beach Boy.
- "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper.
- "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell.
Musical insert with Elizabeth
The following Easter Egg is somewhat hidden and easy to miss: a short vocal interlude with Elizabeth.
- To do this, head to the bar in the working-class Shantytown. Cross the bar and keep to the right, then go down the stairs and grab the guitar. Elizabeth is now starting to sing about Booker's game.
Special Easter egg: Songbird's death already in Bioshock
Too far-fetched for some, particularly exciting for others: gamers want to have discovered Songbird's death in the Rapture chapter of Bioshock Infinite in the first part of the series. Reminder: Songbird dies under water pressure after Elizabeth opens a crack and takes herself, Booker and Songbird to the underwater city of Rapture. In Bioshock, Songbird's death scream is said to be heard in a scene of the level "Fort Frolic" - 6 years before Bioshock Infinite appeared.
End Credits from Bioshock Infinite - Easter Eggs are here too
After the intense end of the game, the creatives behind the Bioshock Infinite project are recognized in the credits. However, you should under no circumstances click or skip them, but let them play normally. After about ten minutes, a video appears in the lower half of the screen in which Troy Baker and Courtnee Draper - the English voices of Booker and Elizabeth - rehearse a song. This is "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", which is already known from the game.
- As a reward for the particularly patient, there is a small game scene after the end of the end credits, which you should not miss under any circumstances. You will find yourself in your office as a booker and want to check on your daughter Anna in the next room. What happens next is not revealed here.
Battlefield 4 also has numerous Easter eggs. Here we present the five best.
