Anyone who has caught the Trojan once will receive a pseudo message from the corresponding federal state with symbols from the responsible criminal authorities. This also includes a request to pay a penalty fee. Affected people can no longer operate your smartphone properly, only the home button works, but always returns to the message when other activities are started.
- The Trojan is basically an app that has to be installed first. The criminal offenders use access via other apps that are permitted by installing apps from third-party sources. So avoid installing apps from dubious sources. It's best to limit yourself to the Google Play Store.
- Also check to see if you agree to install apps from third-party sources. To do this, call up the settings and, if necessary, deactivate the checkbox behind "Unknown origin" under "Security".
