Connect Bluetooth headset to PS3 - Here's how
If you want to connect a Bluetooth headset to your PS3, you have to make some settings. We'll walk you through the steps in this article.
1. Connect the PS3 to the Bluetooth headset
- Select "Settings" and then the sub-item "Peripheral device settings".
- With "Register Bluetooth device" you now have to search for and connect your headset. If the search is successful, your Bluetooth headset will be displayed on the screen. Then confirm with the X button.
- Some headsets require a passkey, which then enables a secure connection between the devices. You can find this in the enclosed manual.
- Complete the settings with the X button and "OK".
2. Set up the Bluetooth headset
After the Playstation 3 has successfully recognized your headset, you need to set it up next:
- Choose Settings> Peripherals Settings again. Then highlight "Audio Output Settings" and press the X button.
- Then select "Input device" and select your Bluetooth headset. Then confirm with "OK" and the X button.
