Connect the Bluetooth keyboard to the Samsung Smart TV
This practical tip shows you how to connect a Bluetooth keyboard to your Samsung Smart TV.
The basic requirements: Bluetooth-compatible Smart TV and Bluetooth keyboard
Read whether your Samsung Smart-TV is Bluetooth-compatible in the user manual. As a rule of thumb, if your Samsung Smart TV has a WLAN module installed, it almost always has a Bluetooth interface. Basically, any Bluetooth keyboard can be connected to your Smart TV. For a good transfer rate, however, this should have Bluetooth 3.0 installed. You don't need the original Bluetooth keyboard from Samsung.
How to connect a Bluetooth keyboard to your Samsung Smart TV:
- First turn on your smart TV.
- Press "Menu" on the remote control to open the settings window.
- Now select the "System" tab and navigate to the "Device Manager".
- Next, go to "Keyboard Settings." on.
- Now turn on your bluetooth keyboard and make sure that the bluetooth of the keyboard is turned on. With most keyboards, this is automatically activated when the keyboard is switched on. Now place your keyboard in the immediate vicinity of your Smart TV.
- Now call up the menu item "Add Bluetooth keyboard". Your smart TV will now automatically search for a Bluetooth keyboard that is nearby.
- As soon as your keyboard appears in the search field (usually under the name "Bluetooth Keyboard") press the confirmation button on your TV remote control.
- Now make sure in the "Keyboard Settings" item that the language "German" is selected.
- Click the "Close" button to end the process.
- Now you can use your Bluetooth keyboard on your Samsung Smart TV. You can easily enter a domain in the Internet browser or navigate through the settings menu with the keyboard.
