The app "Bolt by Instagram" wants to compete with Snapchat. In this practical tip, we explain what is behind the application and how exactly the app works.
Instagram app "Bolt": This is how the Snapchat competitor works
- Bolt is a pure Instagram photo and video messenger. This means that you can only send snapshots and videos with it.
- As with Snachpchat, you can also add text here (see picture). However, there are no filters like Instagram or editing functions like Snapchat.
- With "Bolt" you can easily use several frames per second. Because there can be a bad selfie among the snapshots, a callback function has been integrated into the app, which you can activate by shaking your smartphone.
- The upcoming Snapchat competition Bolt is currently only available in some countries, such as Australia. The start in Germany is planned for 2014.
