- The second generation of Pokémon consists of a total of 100 different individuals. These were added in Pokémon Go in February 2017. However, there are a few exceptions.
- The legendary Pokemon of the second generation remain under lock and key until further notice. These include Entei, Raicou, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh and Celebi. The legendary Pokémon Zapdos, Lavados, Arktos, Mewtwo and Mew from the first generation should appear in the game soon.
- In addition to the legendary Pokémon, two other second-generation Pokémon are also missing. Color Eagle and Botogel are still waiting for more. There is already some speculation as to why this is so.
