Brahmi works to improve mental performance and protect nerve cells. The plant is actually called Bacopa Monnieri and is used in Ayurvedic medicine.
- Brahmi comes from South Asia and Southeast Asia and is now increasingly cultivated in India and China. Translated, the plant is called "Little Fat Leaf".
- Bacopa Monnieri is known in Germany as a natural brain doping agent.
- The plant is stimulating and soothing at the same time. Therefore, it helps with nervousness and anxiety disorders. The plant does not cause fatigue.
- If you take the plant for more than twelve weeks, this can have a positive effect on your short and long-term memory. This effect is especially helpful for older people.
- Like many other plants, Brahmi lowers the fever and is generally anti-inflammatory.
- You take Brahmi in the form of a tea or capsules. The latter are more recommendable.
- Brahmi tea is less powerful and not particularly tasty.
- As a capsule, the daily dosage of the extract is 200 to 500 mg. The higher the bacsid content of the powder, the smaller the dosage should be. This is especially important if you want to increase your performance with it.
- Before taking Brahmi, talk to your doctor about the duration and dosage of the medicinal plant. In combination with other medications or existing diseases, side effects such as stomach pain and headache can occur.
