Envelope template for word
Word provides you with a useful feature with the envelope tool: You must enter the sender and recipient address in the envelope template. Then all you have to do is empty the envelope in the printer and print it out.
Customize the envelope with the template in Word
- After you have opened the "Shipments" tab in the menu bar, click on the "Envelopes" button.
- A new window opens in which you can enter the recipient and sender addresses. (see screenshot)
- Then click the "Preview" or "Options ..." button to go to the envelope options, where you can choose a different envelope size and change the printing options as you wish.
- Once you have checked all the settings again, you can position an empty envelope in the previously specified size in the printer and click on "Print".
A little tip: Your envelope can also be provided with an electronic postage. All you need is the e-postage add-on for Microsoft Word and a personal postage account at Deutsche Post.
This practical tip relates to MS Word 2010.
