The Thermomix is a true all-rounder. Among other things, you can use it to bake bread - or at least prepare the bread dough. Find out what you need and how it works in this kitchen tip.
Bake bread with the Thermomix - the ingredients
Weighing and providing the ingredients will take the most time:
- You need 500 g of spelled flour for a quick bread.
- Also prepare 42 g of fresh yeast, i.e. a cube.
- 50 g of flaxseed and sunflower seeds are added to the bread. Alternatively, you can use pumpkin seeds or other seeds of your choice.
- Weigh out 500 g of lukewarm water.
- Also provide 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons of salt.
Bread dough in the Thermomix - how it works
If you have straightened all the ingredients, the dough is ready quickly.
- First put the yeast with the water in the mixing bowl of the Thermomix and stir both at level 3 for ten seconds.
- Then put all other ingredients in the mixing bowl and set the Thermomix to 25 seconds, counter-clockwise and level 3.
- With this recipe, the dough doesn't even have to go. Simply put it directly into a greased box shape.
- The bread can then be put straight into the oven. However, this must not be preheated. Set the oven to 200 degrees and finally bake the bread between 50 and 60 minutes.
- When the bread is baked and crispy, let it cool on a wire rack. Then you can already enjoy it.
You can clean your Thermomix while the bread is cooling. We'll show you how in our next household tip.
