Cancel C-Date - Here's how

If you no longer wish to use the C-Date service, you can cancel your subscription. We'll show you how it's done.

Cancel C-Date quickly and easily

• If you subscribed after October 1, 2016, it is much easier to cancel. According to the law, termination by email is also possible.
• Simply send an email with your request to cancel to If you have already subscribed, you will unfortunately have to follow the somewhat more complex instructions in the next paragraph.
• Note: Be sure to request a confirmation of termination when you cancel online - if you cannot prove this, the termination will not take effect.

Unsubscribe from C-Date

Pay attention to the notice period. The subscription is automatically extended unless you cancel at least 14 days before the end of the contract. In some cases (depending on the subscription model) the notice period is also 4 weeks.

1. Open the C-Date website and log in to your account if necessary.
2. Click on the "My Profile" category above and select the "Properties".
3. At the bottom you will find the item "Your membership". Click on the "Change" button here.
4. Download the form offered there and fill it out completely.
5. C-Date only accepts termination by post or fax. Since the company is based in Luxembourg, the letter takes a few days longer and 90 cents postage (as of 2017).
6. Send the form by fax to 00 49 851 987 900 21 or by post to: Interdate SA, C-date customer service / termination, 13 rue du Commerce, L-1351 Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
7. Note: If the form is not available on the website, you can also write the cancellation yourself. Your name, country, subscription model, email address and username must be mentioned in the cancellation.

Alternative: cancel your C-Date membership

If you do not want to take care of the termination yourself, you can use the Aboalarm service. There you will find a free cancellation template that you only have to fill in with your data and send. If requested, Aboalarm will do the shipping for you (chargeable). Depending on the provider, shipping costs 2.99 euros or 4.99 euros.
